Points & Scores¶
Your choices have to be worth something? Say no more.
Add a value to your choice¶
- Click Add Value
- Search for the value you want to add
Display Value¶
The value to be displayed on the choice. As of writing, the system only allows you to display one value at a given time. Note, you must add a value before it can be displayed.
Value Placement¶
The display position of the value. 1. Above Choice 2. Above Title 3. Below Title
Enable Name¶
Enable the name on the value.
Value Font Size¶
Edit the font size of the value text

Translation¶
Adjust the position of the displayed value by translating it a set number of pixels. This property works best in the case of "Value Placement > Above Choice" with a set value texture. This can allow you to create some pretty fancy choices with floating point boxes.
Creating New Values & Project Value Properties¶
Step 1: To create new values and edit their properties, begin by navigating to project settings. From within the CYOA editor, click the settings cog in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2: In the settings screen, scroll to the section titled "Points".
Here, you can add new point values and edit existing values.
Add Value (Button)¶
- This button allows you to add a new point value.
Base Value¶
- The initial value when starting the CYOA
Is Hidden¶
- Determines whether or not you want this value to be visible to the player in the point display.
Positive Color¶
- The color of this value on choices when it is positive.
Neutral Color¶
- The color of this value on choices when it is equal to zero.
Negative Color¶
- The color of this value on choices when it is negative.
